TRAVEL VACCINATION


New York House Call Physicians are pleased to offer travel vaccinations to patients traveling internationally or domestically. New York House Call Physicians can administer and supply vaccines to travelers in our Park Avenue office or in the comfort of your own home, office, or hotel.

 

The following travel vaccines are available through New York House Call Physicians: Gardasil vaccine, Hepatitis A vaccine, Hepatitis B vaccine, Influenza vaccine, Japanese Encephalitis vaccine, Menningitis vaccine (Menactra and Menommune), MMR vaccine, Pneumococcal vaccine, Polio vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis vaccine, Twinrix vaccine, Typhoid (oral) vaccine, Typhoid (injectable) vaccine, Varicella vaccine, Yellow Fever vaccine, Zostavax vaccine.

 

New York House Call Physicians encourages travelers to meet with a physician at least one month prior to travel to allow vaccines to work. New York House Call Physicians will also do their best to answer any travel-related medical questions regarding the travel destination and prepare the traveler for all medical issues that may arise (for example: malaria prevention, prevention of traveler’s diarrhea, insomnia, etc). New York House Call Physicians can also provide the appropriate documentation for travel to any destination.

 

Please note costs of vaccines vary but will be approximately $50 to $300 per vaccine per traveler in addition to the fee for the physician consultation. If follow-up visits are required pertaining to travel, vaccination, and health care, follow-up physician consultation fees and vaccination fees may apply.
